Georgia Fojtasek

President & Chief Executive Officer

Georgia Fojtasek, RN, EdD, President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), joined Allegiance Health in 1989, serving as senior vice president and chief operating officer until 1994, when she became president and CEO.

Ms. Fojtasek is a member of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Committee on Performance Improvement, the Michigan Hospital Association (MHA) Foundation Board and the Alliance for Advancing Nonprofit Health Care Board. She is a past chair of the MHA Board and served as a delegate to the AHA Regional Policy Board. Ms. Fojtasek is chair of the Voluntary Hospital Association Central Region Board.

A past chair of the Jackson Community Foundation, Ms. Fojtasek is now serving on its Governance and Trustee Emeritus Committees. She also serves on the Board of the Enterprise Group for regional economic development, for whom she is past chair. Her professional passion is providing access to quality health care in the Jackson region, especially for the underserved.
