Chief Compliance Officer

John Hyden, Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), joined Allegiance Health in 2009. 

A graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School and Michigan State University, Mr. Hyden has over 17 years of experience in the compliance field.

In his capacity as Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Hyden implements and oversees Allegiance Health’s corporate compliance program and serves as its privacy officer. Allegiance Health’s corporate compliance program promotes decisions that support the Mission and Values of Allegiance Health as well as strict adherence to rules and regulations that govern healthcare.

Mr. Hyden is licensed to practice law in Michigan, in front of the Michigan Supreme Court, and the Eastern and Western Districts of the United States Federal District Court. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Michigan State University and Lansing Community College. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the Ingham County Bar Association, the Jackson County Bar Association, the Health Care Roundtable, the Health Care Compliance Association, and previously served on the State Bar of Michigan’s Ethics and Professional Standards Committee. He is also a speaker at various statewide ethics committees.
