Ondrea Bates

Senior Vice President Patient Care Continuum & Chief Nursing Officer 

Ondrea Bates, RN, DNP, joined Allegiance Health in 2013 to provide leadership and strategic direction for Adult Inpatient Care; Critical Care; Women’s and Children’s Services; Emergency Services and Jackson Community Ambulance; Home Care Services, Hospice and Chronic Care; and our long term acute care hospital. Bringing years of extensive patient care and nursing supervisory experience, Ms. Bates most recently served as Administrator for Clinical Operations at Oakwood Heritage Hospital.

She earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Madonna University, a Master of Science in Nursing Business and Administration from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. Ms. Bates also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Toledo and is board certified as Nurse Executive-Advanced by the American Nurse Credentialing Center.
