Mike Shore, a lifelong Jackson resident and retired Consumers Energy executive, is passionate about community involvement and quality health care.

He is a past president of the Board of the United Way of Jackson County and has served on the Boards of the Ella Sharp Museum and the Physicians Health Plan of South Michigan.

Shore "strongly believes in supporting local organizations that help the people we know and live among," he said. Shore joined the Allegiance Health Board in 2010.

Drink extra fluids throughout pregnancy to help your body keep up with the increases in your blood volume. It is important to drink at least six to eight glasses of water, fruit juice or milk each day.
