Orthopaedic Surgeon, Jackson Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine

Allan L. Tompkins, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who practices from Jackson Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine. He joined the Allegiance medical staff in 1983 and served as chief of staff from 1999 to 2000. Dr. Tompkins earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. He currently serves as Allegiance Health’s chief of Surgery Clinical Services and is a member of both the Medical Executive Committee and the Quality Management Committee.
