Board Chair Larry Schultz, the president of Great Lakes Industry in Jackson, has served as an Allegiance Health Trustee since 2005 and as Chair since 2008. A passionate advocate for community health improvement and clinical excellence, Schultz was named chair of the Allegiance Health Improvement Organization (HIO) when it was formed in 2000.

“At Allegiance Health, our commitment to improving health and well-being runs deeply,” he said. “We continually challenge ourselves to explore more effective, innovative and compassionate ways to demonstrate this commitment to patients—with the knowledge that our future in the successful delivery of health care services depends upon it.”

Schultz’s longtime service to the Jackson community includes leadership with such organizations as Junior Achievement, School-to-Work, Manufacturing Academy, Lumen Christi High School, the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
