Extended Hours Care Clinic

Allegiance Health is seeking board-certified physicians to staff a new extended hours care clinic. The clinic will offer extended walk-in office hours, evaluation of acute illnesses and injuries with on-site X-ray and diagnostic tests, and offer sports physical exams. Staffing will include one provider, one medical assistant, one MOS and one x-ray tech at the clinic on a daily basis. Access to patient records via EHR.

Anticipate annual volume of 4,800 visits (new business) with low acuity patient mix. Transfer agreement with Emergency Department is in place. We will consider any provider with an unrestricted MI license and experience working urgent care, or family practice. 3rd year Family Medicine residents are welcome to apply.

Potential Procedures: Laceration repair, I&D of abscess, pelvic exam, splinting, preliminary X-RAY interpretation (will have radiologist over-read), comfortable with pediatrics & women's health.

  • Hours will be Monday-Friday: 5-9 p.m. and Saturday: 8 a.m. - noon
  • 24 hours/week 50 weeks per year
