Women’s Health Center to Celebrate 10th Anniversary
October 13, 2008
Jackson, Mich. — To celebrate a decade of providing health services to the community, the Allegiance Women’s Health Center will host a public celebration on Wednesday, October 29, at 7 p.m. in the Gene Davis Convention Center. Reservations can be made by calling (517) 787-4405. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $12.50, or $10 for Perks cardholders.
This special evening of education and entertainment will begin with a brief presentation on digital mammography by David Williamson, MD. This new service is now offered at the Allegiance Women’s Health Center and at Allegiance Health.
The evening will continue with nationally-recognized humorist Bobbie Staten, presenting, "Batteries Not Included." Ten years ago, Staten provided entertainment for the Women’s Health Center’s first community program. "Batteries Not Included," Staten’s most frequently requested program, is a humorous motivational presentation designed to help attendees charge their battery while learning to laugh, work smarter, work together and, most importantly, fall in love with their job once again.
Part of Allegiance Health, the Allegiance Women's Center provides relaxation, fitness and community outreach programs, esthetician and massage services and more. The facility is located at 3305 Spring Arbor Road in Jackson.
