Osteoporosis Center
The Allegiance Osteoporosis Center provides comprehensive assessment, risk reduction, education and treatment, as well as bone density testing, to improve your bone health. Osteoporosis is often called the "silent disease" because bone loss may occur without symptoms. The National Osteoporosis Foundation recommends a bone density test if you are over age 50 with a history of a broken bone. Men older than 70 and women who are age 65 or over, postmenopausal or recently stopped hormone therapy should also be tested.
