Introducing a new concept in connecting patients to convenient care: the Allegiance specialty center.
Our new specialty center offers convenient, personalized care for patients with spine, brain, joint, and muscle conditions. This state-of-the-art facility, located across the street from Allegiance Health, offers a variety of services, including:
- Aquatic Therapy Pool
- Community Room (for events/education)
- Therapy Gym and Treatment Rooms (including locker room facilities)
- Hand Clinic
- Home Medical Equipment retail services
- Imaging: Open MRI, CT, ultrasound and general X-ray services
- Laboratory
- Osteoporosis and Balance Center (opening this fall)
Patients will enjoy a new on-site location for the Jackson Coffee Company, with fresh coffee and beverages from this area-favorite business.
Open MRI
If being in tight, enclosed spaces causes you anxiety, you’ll be glad to welcome the arrival of a new state-of-the-art open MRI at the specialty center. Our MRI utilizes the strongest magnet available in an open MRI (1.2 Tesla), and because it’s open, we offer patients a more positive experience that is both comfortable and technologically advanced.
An open MRI is not only advantageous for claustrophobic patients, it is also ideal for:
- geriatric patients
- overweight patients
- pediatric patients
- examining small body parts such as a knee or shoulder
Patient Navigator
Our Patient Navigator will serve as your consistent guide to coordinate your care, provide you with educational materials, answer your questions and follow up with you after surgery. The Patient Navigator can even assist you and your family in understanding the community resources available to you, should the need arise. It's like having your own personal "go to" person to ensure that you have an exceptional experience.
