Allegiance Open in Spite of Inclement Weather
Allegiance
Health will remain open on Wednesday, Feb. 2, to provide patient care
for the community in spite of inclement weather conditions.
“We
plan for these types of situations year-round, which has prepared us
well for emergencies,” said Shannon Scholten, spokesperson for
Allegiance Health. ”As always, we will be making patient safety our priority and have
contingency plans in place to ensure our facilities will be adequately
staffed.”
Scholten
indicated that “while Family Medicine sites will be closed, diagnostic,
lab and imaging services and the hospital will be open.” Patients are
encouraged
to call in advance if they need to verify appointments.
