Medical Director of New Level II Trauma Center
Opportunity
Allegiance Health is seeking a Medical Director of Trauma Services to lead the hospital in the development and implementation of a new Level II Trauma Center. This board-certified Trauma & Surgical Critical Care Surgeon shall oversee a full complement of trauma surgeons and trauma support services including: trauma system development, performance improvement, education, outreach, emergency preparedness, injury prevention and implementation of trauma pathways and protocols.
We are also seeking a board-eligible/board-certified trauma/surgical critical care surgeon to aid the Trauma Medical Director in the development of the new Level II trauma center.
Allegiance Health has the full complement of subspecialties and equipment to support trauma including: neurosurgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics, anesthesiology, radiology, interventional radiology and state-of-the art facilities.
Presently drawing from a 7-county
region that includes a growing patient population of over 300,000, Allegiance
Health’s Emergency Department has over 77,000 patient visits and admits over
15,000 patients annually.
