U of M Physicians

Our membership in the University of Michigan’s Cancer Center Network ensures that you receive excellent care right here in your local community, from physicians you’ve come to know and trust.

In 1995, Allegiance Health opened the Paul Tejada Center for Radiation Oncology as a joint venture with the University of Michigan Health System. Our partnership has grown ever since, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and support. In 2000, Allegiance Health became a member of the University of Michigan Cancer Center Network, expanding our partnership to include Medical Oncology.

Combining our efforts and talent with the University’s professionals provides us the opportunity to share expertise on cancer treatments and initiatives and to incorporate new technology into treatment plans. We’re also better able to inform patients about the availability of important clinical trials, resulting in increased participation in these innovative treatment plans. As a network member, we also share in the knowledge gained as trials conclude and results are evaluated.
