Eaton Corporation Expresses Generosity to Hospice Home

May 4, 2010

Jackson, Mich. — Eaton Corporation and its staff believe in strengthening the communities where they do business. For this reason, Eaton was pleased to give $10,000 to the Allegiance Hospice Home. The donation comes to Allegiance from Eaton’s Community Involvement Team, through which Eaton employee team members request grants for deserving local non-profit organizations.

The Eaton Community Involvement Team requires members to be actively involved with at least one charity that is approved by the team. Debbie Naylor, an account manager with Eaton Corporation Aerospace Group is a team member who volunteers with Allegiance Hospice Home. She requested the $10,000 donation because she feels, “Allegiance Hospice Home is a wonderful asset to our community,” she said.

“We were very excited to have Eaton Corp and their employees involved in the Hospice Home,” said William Kiel, Allegiance vice president for Development. “Their volunteer involvement gives them a real sense of what we are all about and the funds that are needed to provide quality end-of-life care.”

Funds already dispersed this year included $3,000 toward the purchase of a blanket warmer for the Hospice Home.
