Why would I have to wait to see an Emergency Room doctor, even if there are no other patients in the waiting room?

At any given time, we are treating patients in the 40 private examination rooms surrounding the waiting area. Patients are treated in the order of medical urgency, but we will do everything possible to keep your wait to a minimum.

Most of our patients are seen by a physician in approximately 30 minutes.
