Interpreter & Hearing Services
As our community continues to diversify, Allegiance Health recognizes the importance of being able to communicate with patients in a wide variety of languages. Qualified healthcare interpreters for our patients and their families are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Additionally, we provide sign language interpreters and hearing assistance technology for those who are deaf and hearing impaired. All interpreter and language services are provided free of charge.
If you or a family member need an interpreter or hearing assistance:
- Notify your doctor. Allegiance Health will work with your doctor’s office to make sure an interpreter or hearing assistance device is scheduled for your hospital appointment.
- Notify admitting personnel when you are checking in.
- Notify your healthcare provider at any time during your stay.
