The Allegiance Health Security Office is staffed and open 24 hours a day. Officers patrol all areas of the hospital and will assist you and your visitors whenever needed. Security can also help with other issues, such as lost items, safe deposit for valuables and fire safety. To contact the Security Office, call: ext. 5579.
All medical, administrative and volunteer hospital staff must wear an Allegiance Health identification badge at all times. This badge includes the health system logo, staff member's name and department, and his or her photograph.
Personal property and valuables
You may bring your own personal hygiene items, pajamas, bathrobe and slippers. Excess clothing and unnecessary items should be sent home with a family member. We advise that you leave all credit cards, valuables, jewelry and money over $5 at home. If you chose to keep your valuables with you, please have your caregivers place them in the safe until you are discharged.
For everyone's protection, Allegiance Health regularly conducts fire and/or disaster drills. If a drill occurs during your visit, please remain in your room and do not become alarmed. Staff members will inform you whether a real emergency or a drill is occurring. The door to your room will be closed during a drill as part of our procedure. Fire protection systems are in place throughout the hospital and staff members are trained in fire protection procedures.
