  • Take Part in Lights of Love - Join the Volunteers of Allegiance Health, along with this year’s participants, for an event of peace and reflection. The Lights of Love tree lighting ceremony takes place Thursday, December 17 at 6 p.m. Please meet in the hospital lobby.
  • Annual 'Day of Giving' on Dec. 10 - In order to help these charity organizations, WLNS TV 6 will dedicate its resources to spreading the word about the needs.   • Allegiance Welcomes New Family Physicians - Margo Ferguson, MD, and Bernice Sinclair Pritchett, MD, are now accepting patients from infants to adults. Both offices accept most insurance plans. 
  • Allegiance Health Among Those Chosen in National Project to Reduce Rehospitalizations - The pilot project, named STate Action on Avoidable Rehospitalizations (STAAR), seeks to reduce 30-day rehospitalization rates (patients being hospitalized again within 30 days of discharge) by 30 percent, while increasing patient and family satisfaction with transitions and coordination of care.
  • Allegiance Receives Premier Award for Quality - The Premier Award for Quality is given to healthcare organizations who provide outstanding patient care and operational efficiency. Allegiance is one of only 23 award winners of the 3,796 eligible hospitals nationwide.

  • Heart Center Earns National Design Recognition - Allegiance Health has earned the ICU Design runner up award from the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) for the design of its new Cardiac Universal Bed (CUB) Unit.
