Family Birthing Center Recognized

Jackson, Mich. — Allegiance Health’s Family Birthing Center has been honored as a recipient of the 2003 Johnson’s Childbirth Nursing Awards. Allegiance was nominated by two separate patients during the past year.
The Johnson’s Childbirth Nursing Awards, in partnership with the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, serve to recognize the care, dedication, skill, and support given to mothers and their newborns during birth.
As a nominee, Allegiance will be entered in drawing to win one of four $1,000 educational grants for its maternity center and will receive two complimentary registrations to the 2004 Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Convention.
