Dec. 19, 2006

Jackson, Mich. — A three-week effort by Allegiance Health employees to collect food for over 200 families in Jackson County will conclude on Wednesday, December 20. The annual Food Drive, now in its 23rd year, has helped more than 2,200 area families.

Food and goods donated by Allegiance Health staff will be distributed to needy families and individuals in the Jackson community on December 20. Over 50 Allegiance employees have volunteered to deliver the items to those who indicated their need to the Salvation Army.

“Our annual food drive is an important and valuable way we can serve our community,” said Robin Kirkpatrick, Director of Marketing and Community Relations. “We are thankful for the generosity of Allegiance staff to help provide for those in need.”
