KIDDS (Kids Impacted by Death and Dying Support group)

For children who have experienced a recent or past loss. There are two groups: One for children and one for teens.

Emotional support is very important in the grieving process, not only for adults but for children and teens as well. These weekly group sessions provide a safe environment, in which children and teens can feel free to share their thoughts and feelings with peers who have also lost someone they love.

The groups are led by experienced professionals who understand the grief experience and encourage participation. For parents, the group not only deals with personal feeling of loss but also addresses questions about how to help your children heal.
