Insomnia

Overcome Insomnia. Rediscover Restful Sleep.

According to the Mayo Clinic, up to15 percent of adults report chronic insomnia, making insomnia one of the most common medical complaints. Insomnia can affect you mentally and physically. When you feel tired, depressed or irritable due to lack of sleep, it can also make it hard for you to concentrate or perform tasks during the day. Lack of restful, restorative sleep can also increase your risks for high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.

The Allegiance Sleep Health Center is pleased to provide a new enhanced program, unique to our region, dedicated to sleep disorders such as insomnia. The program offers a cognitive behavioral therapist to assess and treat your insomnia symptoms. The therapist will complete a behavioral assessment and work with you to address thoughts and behaviors that contribute to poor sleep. All patients will receive a sleep-focused medical examination. If a major sleep disorder is suspected, a sleep study will be recommended.

You can overcome insomnia and rediscover restful sleep. The professionals at the Allegiance Sleep Center’s insomnia program can help.
