Allegiance & CFH to Offer Health Insurance Marketplace Event
As part of the Affordable Care Act, the Health Insurance Marketplace allows individuals to enroll in a plan that covers essential benefits, including pre-existing conditions. Allegiance Health and the Center for Family Health are co-hosting an event for individuals who have health insurance questions or would like help with the enrollment process from a certified enrollment navigator. The event is free of charge and no appointment is necessary.

Anderson Building Auditorium (behind Allegiance hospital)
Free parking is available in the Visitor Parking Deck and around the Anderson Building. JTA buses also stop at the hospital campus.
Allegiance Health Director of Patient Access Jennifer Zysk said, “With one Marketplace application, individuals can compare coverage options side-by-side, learn if they can get a discount based on their income, and then enroll. We want to ensure individuals and families understand the various plans that are available to them.”

- By phone: Call (800) 318-2596 to apply.
- In-person: The Center for Family Health, 407 N. Jackson St. in Jackson, offers computer access and free assistance to anyone who has questions and/or wants help enrolling. Help is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The enrollment deadline is Monday, March 31, 2014.
