This free event will include exhibits, heart-healthy snacks, cooking demonstrations and health screens to promote wellness. Learn more

First Church of the Nazarene, 3905 Clinton Road, Jackson

Featured presenter will be America’s Nutrition Leader Zonya Foco, a registered dietitian, certified health and fitness instructor and television host, as well as a featured presenter for Oprah and Bob’s Best Life Challenge. Zonya’s entertaining style will motivate participants to discover the joy of adopting new, healthier habits.  Her energizing, educational and humorous presentation, “Be Good to Your Sweet Heart,” will demonstrate delicious ways to cook and eat to your heart’s best advantage.

Free health screenings will also be offered at the Expo. Call (888) 335-7241 to register for a free vascular screening or fasting lipid panel cholesterol screening. Other screenings will be available on a walk-in basis, including blood pressure, balance testing, blood sugar testing, total cholesterol and sleep apnea screenings.

Free shuttle service will be available every half hour from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from the Allegiance Specialty Center, located at 1201 E. Michigan Avenue, across from the hospital.
