Financial Rights & Responsibilities

As a patient, you have certain rights and responsibilities regarding insurance and billing.

Patient Financial Rights

  • To receive and examine, upon request, an explanation of your bill, regardless of the source of payment, as allowed by law
  • To receive, upon request, information relating to financial assistance available through Allegiance Health

Patient Financial Responsibilities

  • To provide accurate up-to-date insurance information and notify us if your address changes
  • To follow up with your insurance carrier to ensure prompt payment of your claim
  • To understand that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company; we will work with your insurance carrier, but you are ultimately responsible for payment of your account
  • To call the Allegiance Business Office at (517) 788-4920 if you cannot pay your balance in full

Eating junk food, fatty food and other convenience foods will result in a feeling of lethargy, tiredness, depression and bad complexion just to name a few. Try substituting these foods with high fiber, low fat food, mixed with a regular intake of fruit and vegetables.
