  • To follow up with your insurance carrier to ensure prompt payment of your claim
  • To understand that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company; we will work with your insurance carrier, but you are ultimately responsible for payment of your account

If you are a smoker, it’s important for you to understand that smoking slows recovery and increases the risk of problems. Several weeks prior to surgery, talk with your health care provider if you need help quitting.
