Mail & Deliveries

Allegiance Health’s dedicated volunteers deliver mail, flowers and packages to patient rooms daily.

Mail is sorted and delivered in the morning. If a patient is discharged before mail is delivered, we will forward the mail to the patient’s home. If the mail is undeliverable, it will be returned to the sender.

Mail should be addressed in this format:

Patient name
Room #XYZ
c/o Allegiance Health

If flowers arrive after a patient has been discharged, the florist will be contacted to make the necessary arrangements for delivery. CCU patients can receive only silk flowers. If real flowers are sent, they will be delivered to the nurse station for family to take home.

Messages sent to patients through our website are delivered each morning as well. Messages sent after a patient is discharged are discarded confidentially.

Note: If a patient has requested a "No Information" status, Allegiance Health is not able to deliver flowers, mail or packages. This status prohibits any communication with the patient, including transferring incoming phone calls, delivering mail or flowers and allowing visitors.

Time is critical during a heart attack. The longer it takes to get treated, the more badly damaged the heart will be. Get to the hospital quickly by calling 9-1-1. Do not attempt to drive yourself.
