Ethics

Doing the right thing at the right time for the right reason.

Sometimes an individual’s beliefs and values conflict with the medical or organizational decisions that are made. When such conflicts happen, the Allegiance Health Ethics Committee is available to help you understand and communicate about the decisions that are causing concern. All conversations are held in strict confidence.

Contacting the Ethics Committee

You can request contact with a member of the Ethics Committee by calling (517) 788-4743, or you can have the hospital operator page the “Ethics On Call” number. A committee member will return your call within a short amount of time.

Eating junk food, fatty food and other convenience foods will result in a feeling of lethargy, tiredness, depression and bad complexion just to name a few. Try substituting these foods with high fiber, low fat food, mixed with a regular intake of fruit and vegetables.
