Patient Satisfaction Surveys

Evaluating the satisfaction of the patients we serve each day is an important part of how we evaluate our quality—and continuously improve. Patient satisfaction is measured in two ways at Henry Ford Allegiance Health:

  • Henry Ford Allegiance Health partners with Press Ganey to survey nearly every patient about his or her satisfaction with the care and treatment they received at our health system.
  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provide patient satisfaction data collected on an governmental survey. Since the initiative was first announced in 2006, Henry Ford Allegiance Health has voluntarily participated by mailing this survey to a group of patients and providing CMS with the results.
