Dr. Byler is the medical director of Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Henry Ford Allegiance Health and is board certified in cardiology and adult echocardiography. After earning his MD from the University of Michigan, Dr. Byler completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He then completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado.

In 1992, Dr. Byler joined the medical staff of Michigan Heart. His areas of professional focus are cardiac catheterization and critical care medicine.

Exercise may help relieve stiffness, reduce pain and fatigue, and improve muscle and bone strength in arthritic joints.
