Fundraising Events

Allegiance Hospice hosts a variety of fundraising events throughout the year so that we can offer services to all members of our community regardless of their ability to pay. Fundraising events are run by volunteers and allow us to offer bereavement and spiritual support to our community at no cost. They also allow us to provide Camp Weave-A-Hope scholarships for families who are struggling financially. Fundraising events include those sponsored by Allegiance Hospice, as well as other community events that benefit Allegiance Hospice.

Hearts for Hospice Chocolate Sale

Each February, Allegiance Health hosts a Hearts for Hospice chocolate sale featuring hand-made Gilbert’s chocolate. The sale takes place throughout the Allegiance Health system, as well as around the community through volunteers and business associates. 

Hospice Holiday Run/Walk

This event takes place each March and is sponsored by Sacred Touch Massage Therapy in Brooklyn. The event attracts more than 200 runners and walkers each year in support of Allegiance Hospice.

Helping Hospice Golf Benefit

The Helping Hospice Golf Benefit is our largest fundraiser, raising more than $25,000 each year. In 2014, the event takes place on Monday, September 8th at the Grande Golf Club in Jackson.

Wine Tasting

Each November, the Hunt Club organizes a food and wine tasting supported by many local businesses. The event is a celebration of food, friends and fun.

A 10-minute walk, 5 minutes on the stairs and 15 minutes of cleaning and vacuuming all count toward your goal of 30-minutes of daily exercise.
