Patient Information

Appointments

Appointments are required. To make an appointment or to speak to a registered dietitian about our services, please contact Allegiance Nutrition Counseling Services at (517) 768-7793.

Your nutrition counseling session will last about an hour. Family members/support persons are welcome to attend.

Insurance

Many insurance companies will cover the cost of nutrition counseling if you are referred by your doctor. However, please be aware that having a physician order does not guarantee that insurance will pay for your service. If you have specific questions regarding your coverage for dietitian services, please contact your insurance provider prior to your appointment.

Payment

We do not require payment at the time of service. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover dietitian services, you may set up an interest-free payment plan. For billing information, please contact Allegiance Health Patient Financial Services at (517) 788-4920.

If you experience signs of a heart attack, chew an aspirin and call 9-1-1. Heart attacks are caused by blood clots in the heart arteries and aspirin helps reduce these clots.
