Pain Management

Chronic pain is defined as pain that lasts beyond the normal time necessary for healing and makes it difficult to manage the activities of everyday life. This type of persistent pain can affect work, mobility, and personal relationships. It often affects the emotions, as well, increasing stress and sometimes leading to depression.

Multidisciplinary Care

Patients experiencing chronic pain can find safe and effective help at the Allegiance Pain Management Center, located across the street from the hospital. Our multidisciplinary care team is led by a specialist physician who is board certified in pain management and anesthesiology. Also on the team are a nurse practitioner, a clinical psychologist, physical therapists and occupational therapists, who are all experienced in the treatment and management of pain. The team works closely with each patient and his or her primary care physician to develop a personalized treatment plan.

To make sure you are always connected to the right care at the right time, our pain management specialists serve as an integrated team along with Allegiance neurologists, neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons.
