Amy Tripp & Janet Rombyer: Hospice Home

"Too many people face death without dignity or quality of life. But I have also experienced what a positive difference hospice care makes for individuals and their families."

Jackson attorney Amy Tripp specializes in elder law. So, when her 89-year-old grandmother Gail Sandford was nearing the end of life, Amy knew she wanted her to be at Allegiance Hospice Home. Amy’s mother, Janet Rombyer, had doubts that “everything would be directed toward death and dying.” But she was pleased to find “It’s not like that at all. Something about the serenity and peace of Hospice Home made Mom completely relax.”

Through Amy’s work, she has seen “too many people facing death without dignity or quality of life, but I have also experienced what a positive difference hospice care makes for individuals and their families,” she said. “My grandmother died with peace and dignity, which is exactly what we hoped for her. Hospice Home made it a wonderful experience for all of us.”
