Darcy LePeak & Michele Osborn: Hospice Home

Our grandmother’s one wish was that she wouldn’t be alone when her life ended, and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home helped us grant that wish.

"Our grandmother’s one wish was that she wouldn’t be alone when her life ended, and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home helped us grant that wish,” said Michele Osborn about her grandmother Janet Osborn. “We have a large extended family, and Hospice Home is very family-friendly. At least one of us was with her every minute—even over night.”

“From the minute I walked in, it never felt like I was in a facility,” said granddaughter Darcy LePeak. “Hospice Home is very calming and private, the staff took care of all of us, and everyone enjoyed seeing the deer and turkeys outside. Being there brought our grandmother a lot of peace.”
