Allegiance Health treats our patients with the highest quality care. We also strive to at provide their visitors with an exceptional experience.

We welcome and encourage visits – especially from family members and close friends who can play a vital role in speeding a patient’s recovery and return to optimal health.

  • For many, spirituality and faith can be vital components of the healing and recovery process. A beautiful interfaith chapel is located on the Third Floor of the hospital, just outside the Family Waiting Room and the Critical Care Unit.
  • Allegiance Health’s full-service cafeteria, the Commons Café, serves a variety of food and beverages for hospital guests and staff.
  • The Lobby Gift Shop, located in the main hospital lobby, offers fresh flowers and a wide variety of snack and gift items for patients and visitors. Please note that patients in the Critical Care Unit can receive only silk flowers.
  • Free valet parking is available at the hospital’s main entrance and at the Emergency Department's entrance. All guests are encouraged to take advantage of this complementary service.
  • Allegiance Health believes visitors are vital to the support and healing of our patients. A hospital stay is, however, also a time for rest and healing. Our visiting policies have been accordingly.

If you are a smoker, it’s important for you to understand that smoking slows recovery and increases the risk of problems. Several weeks prior to surgery, talk with your health care provider if you need help quitting.
