Ondrea Bates, DNP, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, joined Henry Ford Allegiance Health in 2013. Ms. Bates is passionate about creating a seamless continuum of care to meet the needs of our community at every stage of life. To that end, she collaborates with the senior leadership team and physicians, as well as several boards and committees, to set strategic and operational direction for all facets of the health system. Ondrea is responsible for aligning resources across the system for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, while providing ample services to drive improved population health.  She provides direct strategic, operational and programmatic leadership for the continuum of care, including the emergency department, inpatient, surgical services, diagnostic services, post-acute and ancillary departments.

Ms. Bates earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Madonna University, a Master of Science in Nursing Business and Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. Her commitment to professional excellence is evident through her certifications as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Nurse Executive – Advanced by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Ms. Bates serves as Board President for CareLink of Jackson and Hospice of Jackson. She is also a board member of the Jackson Community Ambulance, Emergent Health Partners, and Hospice of Jackson Endowment.
